MyPorter Awards and MyCleaning Awards Return for 2027 with New Categories and More Opportunities for Recognition

Nominations are now open for the 2027 MyPorter Awards and MyCleaning Awards, proudly held in association with NHS England. 

Following a record-breaking year that saw more than 500 nominations submitted from healthcare organisations across the UK, the awards return for 2027 with three brand new categories and increased opportunities for recognition, and a continued commitment to celebrating the people who keep healthcare moving behind the scenes. 

Now entering another exciting year, the MyPorter Awards and MyCleaning Awards continue to provide a platform for recognising the extraordinary contribution made by porters, domestic teams, auditors, supervisors, team leaders and operational support staff across healthcare. 

Each year, hundreds of stories are submitted highlighting acts of compassion, dedication, innovation and teamwork. Whether improving patient experience, leading teams through change, introducing new ways of working, or simply going above and beyond every day, the awards exist to shine a spotlight on the individuals and teams who make a difference. 

As always, nominations are open to healthcare organisations across the UK and beyond, including both NHS and independent healthcare providers.  

The live awards and conferences will take place at The Met Hotel, Leeds, with the MyCleaning Awards taking place on Monday 1st March 2027 and the MyPorter Awards taking place on Tuesday 2nd March 2027. Each event will feature a day of learning, networking and collaboration before culminating in an evening awards celebration. 

Following the record number of nominations in 2026, the upcoming awards feature refreshed and expanded categories designed to recognise an even broader range of achievements and celebrate more exceptional individuals working in healthcare portering and cleaning services.

The new People's Choice Award will offer colleagues, patients and the wider healthcare community the opportunity to vote for a shortlisted finalist following the judging process, ensuring exceptional individuals can also be recognised by the people who see their impact first-hand.

Nominations will remain open until 27 November 2026, after which entries will be reviewed by an independent judging panel made up of respected figures from across healthcare. Judging will take place during December, with shortlisted nominees announced ahead of public voting for the People's Choice Award.
